Wash day

The new fabrics all washed and ready to be sewn up.

One of the things that visitors to Japan comment on is the washing, specifically the washing line. I still don't really like the poles and would prefer a rotary clothesline but it seems to work fine.

All my fabrics are machine washable in cold or hot water. I haven't tried tumble drying them since I usually have a lot of wind and sun here!

  1. You don't like the poles? I love them I guess the best washing line would be a rotary one with poles. I hate the way wire or rope lines damage your clothes. I love the way the poles support the clothes better and there are less creases to iron out. Yep, I guess my problem is with the ironing not the line....
