Little hands put to work shelling peas given to us yesterday evening.
We're making mame gohan in our rice cooker. This is the recipe according to my friend. 3 cups rice, 2 tablespoons sake, 1 teaspoon Japanese dashi, 2 teaspoons salt, water as indicated for three cups of rice and fresh (or frozen) peas, about 2 cups.
