The paddock over the far side next door grows onions through the winter and rice through the summer. I find it fascinating being a city girl. The onions are pulled out over the course of a few days then within a week the field is filled with water and magically the rice appears.
Then the frogs arrive. They croak all night and it sounds like ducks quacking. I love it although it can reach fever pitch volumes.
We discovered this little tree frog on the weekend.
