A new book arrived ... I justify these purchases by saying they are for my shop ... but this one is for us, the family.
Amanda Blake Soule is the author of popular blog Soule Mama. With help and inspiration from her three children she has written this wonderful book for the modern family. The ideas are simple, nothing is intimidating, it all seems do-able. It has its foundation in Waldorf education, perhaps attachment parenting and a bit of home schooling. I like it. A lot of the projects revolve around sewing and stitching. With two older boys and a little baby girl it's nice to see how the activities can be adapted to suit either gender or age. There's a new baby on the way so I look forward to reading more on the Soule Mama blog. The Amanda Soule website.
