What's happening Wednesday?

Every Saturday my friend Craftjuice posts a Status Report. I love and look forward to it each week. Today I am copying the idea with a few links and updates of my own: What's happening Wednesday? Today there is free stuff, cheap stuff, cool stuff to look at and a bit of charity to top it off.

In my IN-BOX: new Feed Your Soul downloads via Indie Fix. I'm printing art by Valentina Ramos and Nancy Mungcal on fancy A4 paper to hang on my wall. One is older and one is new but they look great together being a similar style. It's a very intricate pen and ink look.

Tee Fury has a grab bag $5 offer. I bought a t-shirt from here a couple of months ago. It's a really nice quality cotton tee and the printed art work is excellent. Rich color and very vibrant. Converted to yen including shipping it was about 1800 yen. The tees are only $9 normally but at $5 they're a steal. They'd be good for your present closet = dad, brother, boyfriend for later in the year. HURRY this offer ends in a few hours.

For kids you absolutely have to check out ABCD tees on Etsy. I recently connected with the owners of this awesome shop. I love the graphics and the idea behind them: "ABCD Tees were created to make learning the alphabet fun! Kids like ABCD Tees because they show cool animals in bold colors. Parents like them not only for their educational element, but because they have a retro look that reminds them of the flash cards from their childhood."

While you're Etsy you might like to take a look at Vol25. I recently started reading the Vol25 blog which I came across via Flickr - check out the gorgeous pics of her daughter this week. There are lots of links, more free downloads including Recipe Cards! always find them when you're not looking!

Thinking about kids. Today Biggie has gone off to school for his first day in Grade 2. In honor of that I've donated a school uniform and school fees to a child in Africa via World Vision. I am registered with the NZ branch. We have sponsored a child in Mali for almost 4 years. I encourage you to look at the gift catalog on the US site - they have such a huge selection. $16 gives two brand-spanking-new soccer balls to a village. that's awesome!
